The Adelphi Theatre is one of the most popular West End theatres. It is on The Strand within London’s “Theatreland”. It was first built in 1806 and has undegone many renovations since. It is now a Grade II listed building. 

The Adelphi seats 1500 people and has shown many classic plays and musicals including My Fair Lady, The Jungle Book, ChicagoEvitaJoseph and the Amazing Technicolor DreamcoatThe Rat Pack: Live From Las VegasSweeney Todd, the Demon Barber of Fleet Street and The Bodyguard.

Where is the Adelphi Theatre?

It is on The Strand (A4) which is between Fleet Street and The Mall, to the south of Covent Garden.

Getting there

The Nearest Tube Stations are Charing Cross, Embankment, Covent Garden and Temple.

Buses servicing the Strand include numbers 6, 9, 11, 13, 15, 23, 77a, 91 and 176.
